1.Reports To: Technical Lead /Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include all facets of software development from design to coding and testing.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Expertise in Android Internals Like, NDK,SDK, AIDL, OpenGL 2D and 3D graphics, Telephony (GSM, CDMA), WiFi, Bluetooth, Linux Kernel, Camera, Audio, Video, Location and Map library etc.

Those who have developed high end applications/platforms published on Android Market will be preferred (need reference links).

Good knowledge of OOPS programming languages (C++/Java)

Knowledge of J2ME/Symbian (S60)/Blackberry is a plus (not mandatory)

Knowledge of Version Controlling Tools like CVS, SVN, Clear case, etc

Good communication is a must

Should be self-driven and operate independently with less guidance

 

Desired Profile:

5-7 Years of experience in development in embedded/mobile domain.

hands-on experience with design and development of Android Applications

UI development in mobile framework (Android/J2ME) environment including using of native UI controls and developing of new custom UI Controls

Excellent programming and debugging skills in Mobile Java (Android/J2ME).

Multi-threading and socket programming knowledge

Position will be working from our main office in Bangalore, India.

2.Position: Technical Lead

Ø 2+ years experience in Application development on Android and 3+ years in Java/C++ is must.

Ø Need to be well versed with Android Internals [NDK, SDK, AIDL, OpenGL 2D and 3D graphics, Telephony (GSM, CDMA), WiFi, Bluetooth, Linux Kernel, Camera, Audio, Video, Location and Map library etc.]

3.Job Title: Technical Architect

Job description:

8+ years of Java, Objective-C, or C# development.

4+ years experience working with iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android, or Windows Mobile platforms.

3+ years of experience working for a large Consulting or Systems Integration company

Good understanding and knowledge of Mobile Application development and experience working with wireless carriers, cable operators, and/or media companies.

Proven track-record of working with off-shore development teams and delivery.

Experience in working as a sales engineer a plus, but not required.

Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents such as FRDs, TSDs and architecture documents.

Proficient in verbal communication skills including presentation to large audiences

Ability to effectively present information to team members and management, customers and prospects.

Excellent team building, people and management skills.

Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail

Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn and grow with the business.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and results orientation.

 

Primary Skills: The Mobile Application Architect should have a firm understanding of mobile smart phone, tablet and such devices (including large screen platforms and devices) development platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android, and Windows Mobile.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Defining the overall technical architecture for the mobile application that is being envisioned with the customer.

Defining the technical requirements for the implementation of the mobile solution.

Discussing with the customer technical aspects of the mobile application solution architecture, including the technology used, methodology followed, and devices selected.

Preparing technical solution and architecture documents, artifacts, work products and presentations for the customer.

Representing the customer’s technical solution requirements to all applicable mPortal internal constituencies.

Represent mPortal’s technical team in front of prospects/ customers towards acquiring new business
