What's more, you can also refer your close friends, contacts, and other acquaintances who might suit the role.    Current Job Opportunities Role: ICS Consultant Location: Hyderabad Experience: 4-6 years OCA certified Oracle Database Administrator Education: B.Tech/B.E/MCA Experience: ·         Managing the oracle databases for 9i, 10g and 11g in a 24*7 production environment. ·         RMAN backup configuration, Cloning of the database using RMAM backup. ·         Monitoring database and system health and performance. ·         Monitoring alert log & other trace files, tablespace and data file space utilization & managing the same. ·         Database Installation and configuration using best practices and Upgradation/ Degradation. ·         Export & import on database level, table level, schema level etc. ·         Manual DR Creation and DR Creation using Data Guard. ·         RAC Clustware Installation. ·         Configuring shared storage, Creating the oracle groups & user accounts. ·         Installing the required OS patches, required cluster ware specific patches (on both nodes). ·         Configuring ssh for user equivalence (both nodes). ·         Installing the cluster ware & ASM in to single home and Installing the database software. ·         Database creation using ASM. ·         Managing Redo log groups in RAC, Managing Voting Disk & OCR. ·         Backing up & Recovering Voting Disks. ·         RAC administration through srvctl. ·         Managing backups & recovering the OCR using OCR backup files. ·         Client side & Server side load balancing. ·         Transparent Application Failover(TAF). ·         Configure OEM DB control for an existing DB using EMCA in RAC. ·         Adding new node to Oracle RAC 11g Cluster on Linux. ·         Deleting a node from the cluster. ·         Database Migration from Non-RAC to RAC using RMAN. ·         Database tuning on instance level and query level. ·         Managing the database using Enterprise manager Console. ·         Trouble shooting database issues. ·         Perform day to day database administration on existing databases including implementing patches and upgrades as needed. ·         Maintained effective database performance monitoring procedures. ·         Controlled and monitored user access to databases and maintain database security. ·         Certifications in Oracle OCA/OCP. ·         Certified ITIL professional. ·         Excellent communication skills.
