Location: Hyderabad Experience: 4-6 years Education: B-Tech/BE degree in Computer Science or related degree Required Skills: ·         Expertise in Cognos 10 and Cognos 8. ·         Strong understanding of Report Studio, Query Studio and Framework Manager ·         Knowledge of Java. ·         Should be strong in authoring reports for enterprise applications ·         Strong understanding of Cognos Administration and Security. ·         Strong understanding in building meta data models using Framework Manager ·         Cognos certification is a plus. ·         Should have sound understanding on Relational Databases – Should have experience in working on at least one RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) ·         Strong in SQL - Ability to write, analyze complex queries ·         Experience with source code/version control tools like SVN. ·         Exposure to Application design and Database modeling (Preferred). ·         Tuning performance of application (Preferred). ·         Ability to grasp concepts quickly (Preferred). ·         Ability to analyze problems and provide innovative solutions (Preferred). ·         Experience with a Time & Attendance or Scheduling application is a plus (Preferred).   Apply Now. Strong SQL skills. ·         1-2 years of experience with application servers: BEA Weblogic, Oracle 9iAS, IBM WebSphere. ·         Exposure to various operating systems and application deployments on various platform stacks. ·         Experience with client-based enterprise implementations and n-tier web application architecture. ·         Experience in working with UI and Presentation Layers: JavaScript, JSON, CSS, jQuery, XSLT. ·         Understanding of basic database concepts: normalization, constraints, indexes, triggers, and basic syntax. ·         Ability to grasp concepts quickly and learn predefined methods for extending the Workbrain application Functions and customizing the environment to meet specific client's needs. ·         Ability to analyze problems and provide innovative solutions. ·         Proven background in writing requirements and design specifications. ·         Ability to travel to the client site (if necessary).
