| Role: Quality Assurance Analyst. Location: Hyderabad Education: BE/Btech/MCA/ME/Mtech. Experience: 4-5 years Job Responsibilities: · Analyze and review new functional requirements; create, document, and execute test plans and test cases for those requirement sets. · Prepare test cases that appropriately cover new functionality while ensuring the stability of the system's existing functionality, and provide effort estimates for project planning. · Execute test cases (manual currently; both manual and automated in the future). · Interact with Developers and QA team members (at times during extended hours due to time differences in team locations), to ensure product functionality and quality standards are met. · Report on test results thoroughly and promptly using the adopted tracking system. · Participate in design and documentation reviews. · Become a subject matter expert in the Mongoose development framework, and stay up to date on new functionality as it is developed. · Maintain and enhance Mongoose testing tools, environment, and methodologies. · Other duties as assigned Requirements: · 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. · 3+ years of experience with SQL and database fundamentals, including ability to write/execute queries. · Strong understanding of the different levels of testing throughout the software development life cycle. · Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills. · Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Mongoose teams in India and the United States. · Ability to work independently and as a positive team player. · Self-motivated and a quick learner; ability to manage multiple priorities under set deadlines. · Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel. · General PC knowledge.
