We have immediate openings for SAP Basis L2 & L3 Consultants for our client HP India for Bangalore & Chennai location. Positions are on contract basis. Looking for immediate joinees who can join us with in 10 days. Job Description: (Basis L2 & L3) Major Responsibilities Major Tasks Provide support services for customer environments 1. Respond to cases logged by Service Desk and Automated Ticketing 2. Adhere to SLA response and resolution times and ensure cases are regularly updated 3. Compliance to customer change management policy and processes 4. Prepare customer incident reports 5. Prepare monthly customer reports 6. Assist with management of problems and escalations Customer Service 1. Retain ownership of customer issues until resolved, escalated or accepted by another individual 2. Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner which keeps them informed and offers value on a daily basis 3. Display an understanding and involvement in a medium sized customer or business unit within your team in the following areas: account knowledge, contact point, meeting attendance, document ownership Key Technical Competencies SAP Basis Administration - Installation of SAP Softwares - Job Administration :- Scheduling System Jobs , Monitoring it - Scheduling Backups , Checking of Backup Logs - Notes/Patch/Kernel upgardes - Checking of Alerts,Dumps,Log Files. - Updates Administration - Workload monitoring - Buffer Statistics monitoring - Spool Administration - SAP Parameters Administration - Transport Administration - Interface Monitoring Key Non Technical Competencies 1. Assist new members to become familiar with the HP and customer environments Provide rostered support services for customer environments 1. Perform scheduled work whether in business hours or after hours 2. Provide support services within the teams core support hours roster 3. Provide standby support services outside of business hours Collaborate and align with other technical groups 1. Work together with external technical groups in order to resolve customer issues effectively Qualifications, Experience and Attributes Requirements Minimum qualifications and experience 1. BE / MCA /MSc(IT) ,/ MBA(Systems) with at least 4-5 years of On job Experience. 2-3 years on Multiple SAP Products like R/3 , PI , BI , CRM is mandatory. Personal Attributes 1.
