SAP BASIS Lead Responsibilities: Provide Basis expertise for a team who manage multiple SAP production environments for various clients Act as the Basis expert within an SAP Center of Excellence organization at WFT Define and develop SAP administration standards, system installation and upgrade procedures, and checklist. Design, develop and maintain multiple SAP Clients and system refreshes / build processes. Technical troubleshoot, analyze, research on software patches, provide impact analysis. Work on multiple SAP releases, Performance management and tuning of application, database management. Manage multiple SAP systems and perform basis administration support activities Understand the dependencies involved in a multiple integrated SAP system. Collaborate with other technical resources (Hardware, OS, development, functional etc) for support, production issues, and problem resolution. Perform System Administration Assistant activities and troubleshoot / resolve problems reported by user teams. Ability to research and find solutions Requirements: Skilled as a team member, team lead or Project Manager on at least one full cycle implementation Experience in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Able to collaborate with clients, and have a strong desire to excel. Customer service mentality Proactive/can-do problem solver 8+ years of SAP Basis administration experience. SAP Technical upgrade experience Experience of SAP administration in SQL server , DB2 and Oracle environment. Experience with Windows and Linux OS SAP Basis certification. Disaster Recovery and High Availability experience Experience of SAP administration with all SAP key applications including ECC, BI, Portal, PI, CRM and SRM.. Prior experience to include software installation, support activities, applying patches, defining system installation and sizing plan. Well versed with the SAP technologies and technology roadmap. Multiple full life cycle implementations Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
