We require IT Security Manager/Architect for our client in Singapore. It is a PERMANENT position with our client directly on their payroll.
Requirement Details
Position: IT Security Manager/Architect
Location: Singapore
Type of Position: Permanent
The Security Manager/Architect plays core technical role in the development of a system. Working hand in hand with the Project Manager (PM), the Security Manager/Architect designs and proposes a software architecture for the security solution, and ensures smooth delivery of the system within targeted schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Understand customer requirements and their technical infrastructure
• Provide advice on matters pertaining to IT security
• Convert system requirements into software architecture and design documentation, and ensuring the completeness of the architecture proposed
• Design and implement IT security solutions
• Work with Project Manager and customers to manage/negotiate resources, scope and schedule
• Interface and coordinate tasks with Module Leaders to ensure all modules within the system are progressing as planned, and modules can be integrated smoothly
• Implement and manage security best practices in-house and for applications and turn-key projects for client’s customers
Preferred Skillsets:
• CISSP Certified
• Experienced in designing and delivering complex web-based applications using J2EE servers such as Sun One WebLogic, WebSphere or JBoss
• Experienced in one or more of the following database servers: Oracle, DB2, MySQL
• Knowledge of open frameworks such as Spring, Struts, JSF, Hibernate
• MVC design, Data modeling, Deployment & Build management, Data migration.
• Experienced in presenting security solution to customers
• Familiar with application security, network security, database and organizational security best practices for application teams
• Offshore Development is a plus. Able to converse in Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates).
