· RAC Patch installation.
· Dataguard implementation and troubleshooting
· Event and Fault Management
· Coordinate with database vendors for resolution
· Support application support/development teams
· Trend Analysis and recommendation
· Database/SGA sizing
· Capacity Planning
· Database Maintenance / Housekeeping
· Database reorganization planning
· Performance Tuning
· DB Performance Monitor/Tuning reports.
· Primarily role is supporting the production and development Oracle
· databases
· Provide 24 x7 support and on call support for databases
· Provide inputs for capacity management
· Knowledge of Datapump utility
· Unix Shell scripting skills
· Helps in data backup, recovery and replication procedures
· Has strong communication skills
· Database DR strategy
· Database Complex Migration
· Flashback.
Certifications:
· Oracle DBA Certified Professional – 11g or 10g
· Oracle RAC/Grid Certified.
