The Service Cloud development team delivers leading-edge components and services that extend Oracle’s leadership position in the innovative and rapidly growing arena of customer support services within Oracle SaaS and cloud strategy. Chat, Virtual Assistance and Customer Self Service solutions make up our growing ecosystem. We are using the Agile engineering methodology to design, develop and troubleshoot mission critical software with huge data sets, very high up-time requirements. We are a global organization with team members based across the US, EMEA and APAC regions to provide world-class solutions to our customers.
We are looking for champion Quality Assurance professionals with strong technical background who will work in a team of talented engineers, designers and architects, to deliver a new product that aims to outperform and outsell its competition in the exciting Intelligent Virtual Assistant domain.
Your responsibilities:
Designing and delivering detailed test plans with a strong emphasis on the automation
Defining test data and test automation framework that can be leveraged across test suites
Participate in the requirement and functional design reviews to not only create test plans but also influence and contribute to the product features definition
Participate in Agile development process and work closely with Development and Product Owners to test features as they're built with-in a sprint
Drive effective quality measures as early in the software development lifecycle as possible to maximize impact
Triage test failures and work closely with the development to resolve them
Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency and repeatability through process and tooling improvement to deliver high quality product in a timely manner
Teamwork:
Peer review test plans and test automation
Work closely with Product Management, Development and other QA and Release Management teams
Perform project tasks and solve problems with little or no assistance and guidance
Operate both independently and as part of a team
Skills & Other Job Requirement:
B Tech /M Tech /MCA in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of experience
Experience with Functional/Manual testing
Experience in test development automation. Use of automation tools like QTP/Selenium, Oracle Test Automation framework and Quality Center is highly desirable.
Excellent knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies.
Knowledge of Oracle Application Testing Suite a plus.
Basic Java knowledge
Experience in working on large scale product testing with an ability to test complex integrated software applications in multiple environments
Good problem solving and analytical skills to triage issues in a complex multi-tier environment
Outstanding attention to detail and ability to contribute and follow the organization wide QA processes & standards
Ability to work in global Scrum teams
Agile Methodology experience a plus

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
