Requirement 1
Relevant Experience- 10 -15 Yrs.
Solution Manager- IT Infrastructure Services
Solution Managers are responsible for translating customer requirements into operational strategies, consolidating input from domain experts into consistent, compliant, value-added solutions, creating associated cost models and associated proposal documentation, managing due diligence technical teams and assisting in contract negotiations.

The specific role of the Solution Manager is to develop the service delivery proposal solution that CSC will deliver to the client. In developing the service delivery proposal, the Solution Manager must ensure integration is achieved across all domains.

Knowledgeable and experienced in major technology domains like Enterprise Servers, Mid-range, Storage / Backup, Network & Security, Desktop, End User products, Systems Management, Service Management, Service Level Management

Role
Govern the architecture and design and cost of Solution proposal by interacting with clients, CSC Line of Service Teams, Service owners and vendors
  • Work with Global CSC Sales Force to respond to RFP/RFI/RFQs
  • Design complete end-to-end infrastructure solutions to meet client requirements
  • Developing the complete costing, staffing requirements for the opportunity
  • Document the solution proposal at the required level of details
  • Prepare Solution Brief & Strategy and present to CSC Stakeholders and Management
  • Engage with OEMs on need basis
  • Engage with the line of services throughout the RFP/RFQ life cycle and lead the solution team in developing the technical solution
  • Well versed with Account Management, Costing/Pricing strategies, methodologies
  • Well versed with complete bid cycle, program management with a strong technical background
  • A Team player, self driven person who brings thought leadership and guides the SMEs.

Requirement 2
Solution Architect- Networks
Relevant Exp.: 7 Yrs min - 15 Yrs max. 
Key Role and Responsibilities
  • Design & Solution understanding for Network domain  using products from various vendors (Network Architecture around technologies such as LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, MPLS, IDS, IPS etc)
  • Demonstrates Leadership and takes complete solution ownership for his/her domain for the RFP response
  • Create cost model for LOS/functional group (including hardware, software, technical and operational support) and get sign off from appropriate internal reviewers (Line of Services)
  • Provide the technical solution for their LOS/functional area as part of a bid or proposal. This will be discharged in concert with the other Lines of Service and functional groups (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement etc.)
  • Assist with the transformation requirements to the point of demonstrating CSC’s ability to change the current state of operation to a more appropriate and standard environment.
  • Understand the LOS/Functional Area and know how to apply standards.
  • Perform internal presentations
  • Act as a Technical Consultant during the contract negotiation.
  • Provide input into the Statement of Work.
  • Understand the relationship between Cost and SLA/SOW/Due Diligence, and communicate this to NBS.

Solution Architect- Service Management
Relevant Exp.: 7 Yrs min - 15 Yrs max. 
Domain Knowledge / Skills required
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their deployment across the organisation
  • Understanding of tools and their integration required to deploy ITIL aligned service model across the organisation
  • Create service model framework in line with RFP requirements
  • Ability to define, articulate, estimate and cost  the complete Service management solution covering People, Processes and tools
  • Strong solutioning aptitude and analytical bent of mind particularly in the Service management space.

Key Role and Responsibilities
       
  • Comfortable with Service Management domain, products and vendors.
  • Demonstrates Leadership and takes complete solution ownership for his domain for the RFP response
  • Provide a populated cost model for LOS/functional group (including hardware, software, technical and operational support).
  • Provide the technical solution for their LOS/functional area as part of a bid or proposal. This will be discharged in concert with the other Lines of Service and functional groups (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement etc.)
  • Provide support to the LOS/functional group personnel working on bids and/or proposals.
  • Assist in the development of functional group processes, activities and products that support bid activity.
  • Apply commercial interpretation to the technical solution to create a proposal that is sales oriented.
  • Assist with the transformation requirements to the point of demonstrating CSC’s ability to change the current state of operation to a more appropriate and standard environment.

Requirement 4
Solution Architect- Compute
Relevant Exp.: 7 Yrs min - 15 Yrs max.
  • Servers: Both Intel and RISC - Virtualization technologies (VMware, AIX LPARs, Solaris Containers, HP-UX vPAR / nPAR)
  • Storage (SAN/ NAS): Midrange / Enterprise storage arrays (EMC, Hitachi, NetApp)
  • Backup: Symantec NetBackup, Tivoli Storage Manager, EMC - Avamar and Data Domain
  • Databases: MS SQL, Oracle
  • Familiarity with enterprise service monitoring tools for servers, storage/backup, databases
  • Data Center Design and Migration/Transition: Awareness of data centre operations & server consolidations
  • Sizing concepts: Infrastructure (HW) sizing for ISVs (such as ERP application - SAP, Oracle) and other Infrastructure services - Active Directory, File & Print, Backup capacity, etc.
  • Experience in architectural & technical expertise.
  • Economic analysis - TCO, ROI & feasibility assessments
  • Awareness of latest and emerging compute technologies (cloud) & its solution streams. RIM Knowhow & Experience.
  • Experience in presales function (techno-commercial) is a MUST – should have worked on cost model for baseline costs and the technical solution

  • Management, VDI including Electronic Desktop Management processes and tools e.g Application  Packaging, SOE, BMC Marimba, SCCM, Altiris, BMC toolset etc) using products from various vendors
  • Demonstrates Leadership and takes complete solution ownership of his domain for the RFP response
  • Provide a populated cost model for LOS/functional group (including hardware, software, technical and operational support).
  • Provide the technical solution for their LOS/functional area as part of a bid or proposal. This will be discharged in concert with the other Lines of Service and functional groups (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement etc.)
