Position: AIX Administrator (FTE)
Role Description:
• Experience in IBM Aix as System administrator
• AIX Administration (AIX 5.3 and AIX 6.1)
• Handling server provisioning requests for AIX servers.
• Installing required software packages for application requirements.
• Responsible for Security, planning and deployment of infrastructure needs of the company
• configuration of new Server Setups for P595.P570, P550, P520 as per design
• Providing infrastructure solutions and setup in datacenter environments with best practices.
• Work with vendors and business partners on infrastructure project requirements.
• Performing disaster recovery testing and implementing new project for DR setup.
• Working with project team for backup and recovery needs as per application needs.
• Handling change management and problem management tickets and follow-up the issues.
• Managing LPARs
• Managing User administration (FTP) and user policies.
